Leap Day Update!

We have a busy weekend ahead, so I thought i'd post my weekend update at the beginning of the weekend. The day started out right, with a casual day at the office - jeans and my handknit Noro cardigan :) At lunch, I went to one of the yarn shops in search of Shibui and Koigu for a yarn goodie to send to my May Day Sock Swap pal... please help me decide which one to send. First, we have Shibui in the color Dragonfly, an intense teal blue/green almost solid and Koigu KPPPM color 127, which is the multi-color spring hues:

Next are my socks-in-progress - the Trekking spring socks and the May Day socks in Cherry Tree Hill blues:

We will be heading south in the morning to meet with the accountant for the yearly taxes and to visit DH's homestead in Sylacauga (that may be sold soon - keep your fingers crossed that the neighbor will get approved for financing). Then, we will be heading to Oak Grove high school for a color guard competition Saturday evening and back on Sunday for another.
