After completing the Noro cardigan, I went stash-diving for yarn suitable for the CPH. I knew I had several choices packed away from an order I placed with Elann a couple years ago. I chose some peruvian sierra aran which is an 80/20 blend of peruvian wool/alpaca. They call this heathery burgundy/black color garnet. I believe it will work! Got guage immediately and cast on.... Did a few inches of sleeves, promptly ripped and went up a size. I would like to wear this over a long sleeve shirt, so it must fit like a cardigan, not melted to my aging body :)
I took a pic of my progress... hiding most of my bedhead. This color doesn't photograph well.
Now off to do something about the bedhead... i'm off work today to be home with a contractor that is supposed to show up around 10:00 to install us some new garage doors. If they don't show, this is going to be one mad woman... one who took the day off for this work to be done and one who happens to carry a handgun permit :)
